Profitable Scotch Bonnet Chilli Cultivation
Farmer: Dipak Kailas Sonawane, Dang Saudane, Kalwan, Nashik
With the support of Krushak Mitra Agro Services Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sonawane cultivated 1.1 acres of Scotch Bonnet Chilli on a contract basis for export.
- Yield Achieved: 12,700 kg of raw chilli
- Fixed Rate Assured: ₹35/kg
- Total Revenue: ₹4.45 Lakhs
- Cost of Cultivation: ₹1.5 Lakhs
- Net Profit: ₹2.95 Lakhs
By adopting this model, he earned significantly higher profits than traditional crops. Guided by the company’s technical expertise and market support, Mr. Sonawane achieved remarkable yield enhancement and secured stable income.
“This has benefited me a lot compared to other crops. With company guidance, I achieved higher yields and better returns,” he shares.

Red Paprika Dry Chilli – A Profitable & Low-Input Crop
Farmer: Bhima Madhukar Dighole, Jaygaon, Sinnar, Nashik
With the support of Krushak Mitra Agro Services Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Dighole cultivated 1.25 acres of Red Paprika Dry Chilli on a contract basis.
- Area Cultivated: 1.25 Acres (25,000 seedlings)
- Production: 1,086 kg A-grade material + 701 kg dry chilli
- Fixed Rate Assured: ₹295/kg (A-grade) and ₹270/kg (B-grade)
- Total Revenue: ₹5.09 Lakhs
- Cost of Cultivation: ₹1.25 Lakhs
- Net Profit: ₹3.84 Lakhs
This crop required only 2–3 plucking cycles, reducing labour needs significantly. With lower pesticide and fertilizer use, input costs were minimized, making the crop both farmer-friendly and economically viable.
“Compared to other crops, Red Paprika Dry Chilli has been highly beneficial. It is less susceptible to pests, diseases, and climate stress, making it a reliable and profitable option that strengthens farmers’ income security,” says Mr. Dighole.

Jalapeño Cultivation for Export Markets
Farmer: Arjun Kundalik Nalage, Kumbhargaon, Kadegaon, Sangli
With the support of Krushak Mitra Agro Services Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Nalage cultivated 1.5 acres of Jalapeño chilli under a contract for frozen exports.
- Area Cultivated: 1.5 Acres
- Yield: 22.8 MT
- Fixed Rate Assured: ₹20/kg
- Total Income: ₹4.56 Lakhs
- Cost of Cultivation: ₹1.7 Lakhs
- Net Profit: ₹2.82 Lakhs (in just 4.5 months)
The company provided quality seedlings, technical guidance, and cost-reducing practices that enhanced yield and profitability.
“If I had cultivated tomatoes instead, I would have faced heavy losses due to falling prices. Thanks to Krushak Mitra’s support, I not only secured profits but also upgraded my technical knowledge.
